Join a nursery that values you

I am currently an apprentice at The Nest, I have worked here for a few months, where I have been gaining valuable experience as I work towards becoming qualified in Childcare L3. When I first came to the Nest I was unqualified and didn’t have many skills and knew nothing about working in this sector. The Nest gave me the opportunity to dive right into the working life and helped me build my skills which was the perfect thing for me at the time, as I was a bit timid at first. However, with the help and patience of the lovely staff and management I accomplished more than what I could’ve imagined.

Huda, Apprentice Practitioner at the Nest

“I work in the Baby Room at Nest Royal Wharf, where I have been working for nearly two years. My experience in the Baby Room has been incredible, thanks to the support and training I have received. Throughout my time here, I have gained skills and knowledge within different rooms, working with a range of ages including toddlers. What I particularly cherish about my time at the Nest is the ongoing support and encouragement I receive from my team and managers. This environment not only enhances my knowledge and experience but also assists me in my current university degree studies.”

Ramisha, Practitioner at the Nest

“We absolutely love the Nest. Both Skye and Finn were “Covid babies” but we were very supported to help them adjust. The ethos is very much child-centred and I really like the efforts to foster a trusting fun relationship with the children. It is a joy to see them blossom and come into their own since joining the Nest. Highly recommend”

Christina, Mother of two children at the Nest

“I work in the preschool room at The Nest, where my journey began during my placement while training to become an Early Years Teacher at UCL. After qualifying, I wanted to stay because of how welcoming and supportive the team is. I’m currently pursuing my L3 SENCo training to enhance my understanding of special educational needs, which has been a thrilling experience. One of the aspects I love most about The Nest is its diversity — meeting people from so many different backgrounds, learning about their cultures, and being part of such a compassionate team.”

Brenda, Pre-school Teacher at the Nest

“Hi, since joining the Nest the Senior Management team have been nothing but supportive. I was given the opportunity to join a leadership course which gave me the tools I needed to progress from a Deputy Manager to Co-Manager. The thing I love the most about working at the Nest is that I am able to be myself, and share my ideas with a team that not only listens but takes them on board.”

Ann-Deca, Manager at the Nest

What we do

We aim to provide the best childcare that our parents can access. We remove the worry that parents have when they go to work by creating a great bond with their child. Our nursery understands people and London life, embraces diversity and improves continually.

We care about our people and help them be their best selves.

Where are we going?

Our aim is to build a small group of unique and exciting high-quality nurseries. We are comfortable experimenting with new lessons and approaches and welcome new ideas from all our team. We introduce these new ideas regularly and have fun testing things out.

What this could mean for you?

How good we are as a nursery is driven by how good our people are. We set high standards as we hire capable people and want everyone to work together towards the same goal. As we expand, senior positions will be regularly made available to high performers.

  • This place is dirty and no one cares!
  • We could do better, but I can’t do it alone!
